This is different from anything you've experienced in a healthcare setting. In the best way.

Most people arrive at Soul Align having already been through the system. They've had appointments that felt rushed, recommendations that didn't make sense, and imaging that came back "normal" while something still clearly wasn't right. By the time they find us, they're a little skeptical, and honestly, that's fair.

What we can tell you is this: from the moment you walk in, the experience is different. You'll be greeted by name. You'll have time to talk. Nothing will be glossed over or rushed. And by the time you leave your second appointment, you'll understand your spine better than you ever have, with a clear picture of what's going on and a real plan for addressing it.

Here's exactly how it works.

Step 1

Day 1 — The Full Diagnostic

Day 1 is thorough by design.

Your first visit is the foundation of everything that follows, and we don't cut corners on it. Here's what Day 1 includes:

  • Office tour and introduction to the Soul Align space and team
  • Brief overview of chiropractic so you understand the framework before the exam begins
  • Informed consent reviewed together, not handed to you on a clipboard
  • Full consultation covering your chief complaint and an in-depth review of all organ systems
  • Neurological and orthopedic exam in the areas of concern
  • Posture analysis
  • Full spine X-rays giving us a complete structural picture from top to bottom
  • CBCT imaging — a 3D scan of your cervical spine that provides a level of detail standard X-rays simply can't match

Payment is collected at the end of Day 1. The New Practice Member visit is $327 and covers everything listed above.

Plan for this appointment to take an hour and fifteen minutes. It's comprehensive because your spine deserves a comprehensive look, and because Dr. Whitney won't make a single recommendation until she has the full picture.

Step 2

Day 2 — Your Report of Findings

Day 2 is where everything comes together.

Ideally, your report of findings ideally happens the following week. And here's something we genuinely encourage: bring someone with you. A spouse, a partner, a trusted friend, whoever is part of your support system. We cover a lot of ground in this appointment, and having someone there to listen alongside you makes a real difference.

Here's what happens at your report of findings:

  • Dr. Whitney walks you through your posture analysis in plain language
  • She reviews your full spine structure, stitching your images together so you can see the complete picture
  • She goes through your 3D CBCT scan and explains exactly what she's seeing
  • She gives you her recommendations for care, which may include chiropractic, massage, yoga, or a combination
  • If you're ready to move forward, you'll receive your first Blair Upper Cervical adjustment that day, followed by a rest period to allow your nervous system to settle
  • From there, you'll work with our team on office policies, payment planning, and scheduling

This appointment is a real conversation, not a presentation. You'll have time to ask questions, process what you're hearing, and make an informed decision about whether you're ready to commit to care. Dr. Whitney is direct about what she's found, what she recommends, and what realistic outcomes look like. You won't leave with vague instructions or a generic protocol.

Your care plan

Every plan is different. Here's what yours might look like.

Dr. Whitney won't recommend more care than your spine requires or less than it needs to actually heal. Because each care plan is built around your individual imaging, no two are exactly the same. Depending on what she finds, your plan may include some combination of the following:

  • Chiropractic adjustments using a drop table and activator for full-spine work, alongside Blair Upper Cervical adjustments
  • Traction using a home traction device prescribed specifically to your curve measurements
  • Therapeutic exercises designed to strengthen the muscles supporting your correction
  • Massage therapy with one of our licensed massage therapists to support soft tissue health alongside structural care
  • Yoga as a movement complement to your chiropractic work, with class recommendations tailored to where you are in your care plan

Not everyone needs all of these. Your plan will reflect exactly what your spine needs, nothing more and nothing less.

FAQs

Common questions from new Practice Members:

Will the adjustment hurt?

Blair Upper Cervical adjustments are gentle by design. There's no twisting and no cracking of the neck. Most Practice Members are surprised by how little force is involved and how much they feel in the hours and days that follow. Full-spine adjustments using the drop table and activator are equally conservative.

What if I've had a bad experience with chiropractic before?

That's one of the most common things we hear, and it's a completely valid concern. Dr. Whitney's approach is fundamentally different from traditional high-velocity chiropractic. If you've had an experience that made you hesitant, please tell us when you book. That context matters and it will shape how your first visit goes.

How soon will I start feeling better?

Everyone responds differently, and Dr. Whitney won't give you a number that doesn't reflect your specific imaging and history. What we can say is that many Practice Members notice changes after their first adjustment, while structural correction of the spine is a longer process that unfolds over the duration of your care plan.

Can I just come in for a one-time adjustment?

Soul Align is built around committed, outcome-based care, not drop-in adjustments. If you're looking for a one-time visit, Dr. Whitney will be honest with you that this probably isn't the right fit, and she'll do her best to point you toward someone who is a better fit.

What happens after the 3-month commitment?

At your re-evaluation, Dr. Whitney will review your progress with objective imaging and measurements and discuss what the next phase of care looks like for you.

The hardest part is making the first appointment. Everything after that, we've got you.

Booking takes a few minutes online. Dr. Whitney and the team will handle the rest.
